Synergy is the connection of two companies working together in order to reach the same goal or to help increase profit together. In general, it is the concept of helping, collaborating, and communicating as a team and sharing ideas and knowledge in order to maintain a higher status or accomplish each other's needs.   Two examples of synergies used in movies are the merger of AOL and Time Warner to promote AOL's movie "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone."   Media Convergence is the process of all technologies merged to create all the contents that make up a piece of technology. It is made up of five different categories that involve Media Convergence which includes technological, industrial, social, textual, and political. Technological convergence occurred as a result of digital computers and online internet. This was caused because as the world evolved and became more modern, so has its way of communicating. Everything is now shared through social media platforms instead of newspapers and tv that have gotten less popular. Media Convergence can now be used to display your work, express yourself, speak your opinion, document yourself, and communicate with others virtually.  1. We prepared for the video by coming up with who has access to what and we started from there. One of our teammates had access to a teddy bear and a backyard so we had an idea of a spot where the video will be made. Then we made sure we had all the right materials to start filming, for example, we checked to have a fully charged phone on hand and made sure we had the right lighting that will describe the scene properly.  2. The software we used is called Canva and the limitations to using this app is that not all the editing tools we wanted to use was free, so this denied us the fact of getting 100% creative with the editing process. We were also unfamiliar with the technology for we have never used this software before like changing the duration of a text box or stacking clips on top of each other, so the time editing it did take longer than expected. Liraz Levy went over the video and editing to make sure it was all correct and in order. I contributed to the project by editing the texts into the film, crediting the director and producer, and deciding what music to add for the background. 2. For the preplanning we used the storyboard as a sort of rough draft for our opening shot, we didn't quite have all the fundamentals for our video yet, but eventually we were able to come up with how we wanted our shot. We had a few changes from the storyboard and switched it up a bit. We decided to change the time from where the teddy bear pops up in the beginning and instead start the scene with introducing some plants and trees to create this outdoor wilderness setting.
