Treatment

                             Monkey Murder Mystery 

Logline: The story starts in WWII science lab where a chimpanzee was experimented on to be a super soldier. The chimpanzee became extremely intelligent and acted dumb Infront of his creator and other scientist just to kill them when they aren't paying attention. 

Synopsis: (back story) The story takes place in WWII Germany were the female biologist ADALA (28) is working on experiment with her assistant CORNELIUS (25) assists her in the experiment on a new imported animal. The Animal is in a box in the corner of the room. The animal makes screeches and wines. The two scientists stare at the box. Cornelius asks, “what is in the box that can groan and screech that way”. Adala looks at him and says “monkey.... well chimpanzee, he is an adolescent chimpanzee that we will modify to make into a super soldier “Cornelius’ jaw drops. The box starts to shake more aggressively. Adala pokes the chimp with a stick and the chimp sticks his fingers out the hole attempting to grab the stick.  *1-year passes * MONKEY4) runs around the lab and Cornelius is chasing him. The chimp is eventually cornered and then tie to a chair.  Adala apologizes to Monkey and injects him with steroids. Monkey screech and then faints. Monkeys is unresponsive for hours. Adala and Cornelius consider disposing of the body but then monkey wakes up. Monkey is not the same, he acts very dumb and creates bursts of noises.  Adala and Cornelius think the serum made him brain dead. Adala leaves the room seeking for results. This leaves Cornelius in the room with his back faced against Monkey. Monkeys face straights and he jumps on too his back and strangles him to death. He frames the death by placing the body under the lights and breaking the lights to make it look like it crushed him. Monkey fake cries until Adala comes back and when Adala comes back Monkey snaps her neck. Monkey smiles and falls asleep. Elif enter the room to which her jaw drops when she witnesses what she sees. In a fearful attempt to escape she tries to run away. This led to her finding a different room that discusses what to do if monkey because a murderer.  In a glass box there is a banana that is full poison that can trick the chimp to euthanize the chimp. By using the banana on a stick she sets out bait to which monkey eats and led to his demise. This leaves Elif laughing hysterically as she wallows in pain at the death of what she wanted most. The life of a scientist. 

Characters:  

Adala(28) is a 28-year-old female scientist who is the head experimenter on the case of creating the chimpanzee monkey into the super soldier. She feels a motherly emotionally feel towards him along with Cornelius the problem is she is under the pressure of war so she carries out the orders given. When seeing her assistant dead she wonders how he dies and dies with the sense of confusion. 

Cornelius (25) is a 25-year-old male scientist who is the assistant to Adala and helps her with experimenting on monkey even if he feels that it isn't right,   he continues the job due to the pressure of on going war. While interested in seeing the after math of the experiment he feels out of place and distraught and feels up set due to the conflict of interest towards to the chimp. This is changes once he passes because it make him feel a discern for the chimp. 

Monkey(4)is a 4-year-old chimp who just likes having fun in the beginning but becomes murderous due to the fact of him getting smarter and being tested on. We see his life unravel and positivity but when he became self-aware he fights back and instinctually protected himself. 

Elif (21) is a 21-year-old intern who wanted to be a scientist but when she sees the aftermath of what happened to her colleagues she defends her self by figuring out a way to euthanize the chimpanzee. We see the change of her in the background of the story helping to the after math of her colleagues passing and how it drives her insane. 

Explore the acts: The story starts in a lab in Germany during WWII. The original intent of the lab is to use cross breeding and to uses genetics to modify the anatomy of a chimp to make chimps into a weapon that can be used for war. We see the entire life of the chimp and we see how the background character of an intern becomes prevalent when she euthanizes the chimp to prevent a further rampage within the lab. We see the care the characters have of the chimp and the morality is lost due to the pressures of war. We see the inter go insane when coming to the terms of the passing of the people she wants to be like were killed. We see her question how worth it is to work for war.  

Epilogue: The ending is clear when we see the charter Elif reacting to the after math of the situation. We will see her break down and scream in pain when realizing the dangerous of war. We see the chimp efforts gone to waste to due to him getting smarter. We see how quickly people turn on one another when the chimp murders his care takers, and we see the care takers lose care for him. Regarding the other two characters they pass away due to the chimp. The lab is put away due to a barrier to make it secured and to prevent the mistakes being re-created.
